Celtic's versatile Didier Agathe is on trial with Middlesbrough. The Premiership club have taken Agathe to Marbella, where they can have a look at the 30-year-old, out of contract this summer, for the rest of the week.
Agathe, a regular at right-back or wing-back under previous Celtic boss Martin O'Neill has not made a start this season under Gordon Strachan.
The Frenchman had been wanted on loan by Leeds United.
Agathe joined Celtic from Hibernian in 2000, having first arrived in Scottish football as a striker with Raith Rovers after leaving Montpellier.
