Carlisle extend loan deal for Arsenal's Thomas Cruise
Cruise made his debut for Arsenal in the Champions League in 2009
Carlisle United have extended the loan deal of Arsenal defender Thomas Cruise until 8 January.
The 19-year-old has impressed following his arrival at Brunton Park in November, making six appearances for the Cumbrians at full-back.
"This has been a really good experience for Thomas and I think he has really started to enjoy himself," boss Greg Abbott told the club website.
"He's starting to show us what a good player he is."
Abbott added: "We're delighted that he will be with us for this extended spell.

"He found the pace of things to be completely different to what he was used to when he first got here but we've seen him grow and develop into it nicely.

Cruise has made one senior appearance for his parent club, featuring in the Champions League against Olympiakos in December 2009.
