Carlisle winger Joe Anyinsah to see specialist

Carlisle United winger Joe Anyinsah is to see a specialist after picking up an abdominal injury in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient.

The 25-year-old was withdrawn from the action despite opening the scoring and physio Neil Dalton admitted it was a precautionary measure.

"Joe felt that something wasn't right," he told the club website.

"We'll now send him to see a specialist later in the week and will be able to give a full report on the findings."

Anyinsah, who has been deployed as a striker on occasion, has scored three goals in his last two games for the Cumbrians, and has nine goals in 35 games in total this season.
