Cook scored five goals in seven appearances for Barrow
Carlisle striker Andy Cook will be out for up to three months after breaking his foot while on loan at Barrow.
The 19-year-old was injured in the Bluebirds' 2-2 draw with AFC Wimbledon on Saturday and returned to Carlisle for assessment on Tuesday.
Cook's injury is a blow for Barrow in particular, with the striker having agreed a return to Holker Street.
The Bluebirds are now seeking a replacement loan striker for Saturday's trip to Oxford in Blue Square Premier.
Cook netted five goals in seven appearances, including a goal in each of the Barrow's last two FA Cup matches which has helped the club progress to round two.
