Carlisle United have extended the loan deal of Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul for a second month.
The 20-year-old has made only one first-team appearance for the Magpies but has impressed during his five-game spell at Brunton Park.
Cumbrians manager Greg Abbott told the club's official website: "We've seen what Tim can do already, and I think he's been excellent.
"Hopefully he will continue to build on the performances he has given us."
Krul is a reserve-team regular for Newcastle but his only appearance for Newcastle came in a Uefa Cup tie against Palermo in 2006.
He spent the majority of last season with Scottish Premier League side Falkirk, where he played 22 matches before a shoulder injury ended his season.
