New Carlisle boss John Ward admits he is concerned by the disciplinary form of striker Joe Garner. Garner, 19, joined for a club record fee of 140,000 from Blackburn just before the start of the season.
But in his first 11 appearances, he has scored four goals but collected five yellow cards - leaving him serving a one-match suspension this weekend.
"He's an aggressive player, but we want controlled aggression," Cumbrians boss Ward told the Carlisle News & Star.
"It's just about getting the balance right."
Garner was also booked five times and sent off once in his 18-game loan spell at Carlisle last season.
