Carlisle winger Simon Hackney has agreed a three-year contract extension at Brunton Park. The 23-year-old has made 66 appearances and scored eight goals in all competitions since joining the club in February 2005 from Woodley Sports.
He spent seven months on the sidelines last season while recovering from a knee injury.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old defender Darren Campion has also earned a three-month contract after a successful trial.
Campion, who was released by Birmingham in the summer, has featured for United in a friendly against Morecambe and in two reserve games.
He has signed a three-month deal which will keep him on board until the middle of January.
