"The first 45 minutes were exactly as we wanted, but Walsall were always going to come out all guns blazing in the second half," he said.

"The goal gave them a bit of heart, but I wouldn't have thought on that evidence that many teams will come here and get much out of them.

"We weren't as good in the second half - that's something we'll talk about."
