 Chopra scored five goals for Cardiff during September |
Cardiff City striker Michael Chopra has been named as the Championship's player of the month for September. Chopra helped propel the Bluebirds towards the top of the table by scoring five goals during the month as Cardiff took 13 points from a possible 15.
He netted twice in the 3-3 draw with Plymouth and the 4-1 win over Luton.
The other contenders were Southampton striker Grzegorz Rasiak, Birmingham's on-loan Arsenal front man Nicklas Bendtner and Ipswich forward Alan Lee.
