Koskela failed to make an impact at Cardiff City |
Cardiff City have released Toni Koskela after just a year at Ninian Park. The 22-year-old former Finland Under-21 international midfielder has gone on trial with a Greek club after failing to break into Cardiff's first team.
Koskela played just three games as a substitute for Cardiff, his last coming in Saturday's FA Cup defeat at Arsenal.
Michael Ricketts and Alan Lee have also left Cardiff this month, while Steve Thompson and Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu have been brought in.
And Bluebirds Dave Jones said those two strikers will not be the end of his recruitment drive.
"I'm looking at one more player and if I get the player I'll be really happy," Jones told BBC Wales Sport.
"I've tried to get him in early rather than wait for the last mad couple of days of the transfer window."
