Quinn believes the U's are a match for anyone in the play-offs
Cambridge United manager Jimmy Quinn is "absolutely delighted" with his side's second-placed finish in the Blue Square Premier table.
The 2-0 win over Northwich Victoria on Saturday set up a play-off encounter with Burton Albion, who finished fifth.
Quinn told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "Tactically and physically the lads have been spot on this year but let's try to finish the job off.
"They'll be two tough games against Burton who have some terrific players."
He added: "It's competition football now and it's about grinding out a couple of results to get to the final.
If you said to me at the start of the season that we would have finished second, I wouldn't have believed you

"I'm quite sure that if we do get to the final we'll be more than a match for anyone."
Quinn also hailed the improvement his squad have shown this season.
"If you said to me at the start of the season, after finishing like we did last year where we needed to win the last game to stay up, that we would have finished second, I wouldn't have believed you.
"It's been a magnificent achievement from the players, the staff and the fans, who have been absolutely magnificent.
"Whatever happens now, I think we've achieved an awful lot in a short space of time."
