Cambridge boss Jimmy Quinn praised the impact of substitutes Lee Boylan and match-winner Scott Rendell as they helped the U's beat Rushden & Diamonds. "We've got four decent strikers here and it's great to have quality players who can come on and make a difference," Quinn told his club's website.
"We didn't play as well as we have but the two lads I put on up front turned the game. They looked sharp.
"Scott had a rest and then came on and got the winner, which is fantastic."
