Cambridge United striker Daniel Chillingworth is facing a further two months out of action after having surgery on an ankle injury. He was injured in pre-season and further tests revealed damage to the joint which required an operation.
The 25-year-old had the surgery on Wednesday and now faces a recovery period of at least eight weeks.
Chillingworth rejoined Cambridge from Rushden & Diamonds in January and signed a new contract in the summer.
