Brown named Cambridge Utd captain
Cambridge United
Cambridge United have appointed midfielder Danny Brown as club captain.

U's manager Jimmy Quinn has given the armband to the 26-year-old after he agreed a one-year contract extension to keep him at the club until June 2009.

Brown was Quinn's first permanent signing in November 2006 when he was released from Crawley.

Quinn told Cambridge's website: "He's brilliant in the dressing room and a good character and has all the qualities we're looking for."
