League Two side Bury have signed Burnley defender Richard Eckersley on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old joined the Clarets in July 2009 from Manchester United but has made just four appearances in almost two years at Turf Moor.
Eckersley, who was sent off on his Burnley debut against Hartlepool in the Carling Cup, had a loan spell earlier in the season at Bradford City.
He goes straight into the squad for the game against Torquay United.
