Bury have signed Stockport County goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams on a two-month loan deal as cover for the injured Cameron Belford.
The 23-year-old started the season as first choice at County, but has since lost his place to Matt Glennon.
Belford suffered a facial injury in the victory over Southend and Knill was forced to bring on reserve goalkeeper Richie Branagan to make his debut.
Williams will go straight into the Shakers squad to face Aldershot Town.
