Knill is aiming to steer Bury into the play-offs for a second successive season
Boss Alan Knill has handed an ultimatum to his players as Bury enter the final stretch of a wide-open League Two promotion race.
With two league matches left, just three points separate seven clubs chasing play-off spots.
Knill told BBC Radio Manchester: "It is so tight that we just can't afford to slip up now.
"We need a win at home next Saturday and see where that takes us. The fans will play a huge part."
He added: "Hopefully we can stay in there. The good thing is we're sixth but it is still very disappointing because every time we've had a chance to extend our lead we've come up short."
