Bury captain Stephen Dawson insists they can overcome their recent slump in form as they push for promotion.
The Shakers were held 1-1 by bottom side Darlington on Tuesday - their fourth successive draw.
Dawson told BBC Radio Manchester: "It just isn't going right at the minute but with 11 games to go there's an awful lot of points to be won.
"It can change, third in the league isn't bad considering two years ago we just beat Mansfield to relegation."
He added: "We set a standard between ourselves but we're not reaching that peak."
Bury moved back into the League Two automatic promotion places following the result but have scored just once in their last four matches.
Manager Alan Knill added: "I'd never fault the effort, but the first half we didn't work hard enough to stop them.''
