Knill's side are currently sitting top of League Two

Bury boss Alan Knill has been named League Two's manager of the month for September following his side's recent good run.

The Shakers are unbeaten in four matches, having defeated Lincoln and Barnet and managed draws against Chester and Wycombe.

They are currently top of the table on goal difference.

Andy Scott of Brentford, Macclesfield's Keith Alexander and Wycombe manager Peter Taylor were also shortlisted.
