Millwall have made a good start to the season under Jackett

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett has been named League One's manager of the month for September.

Jackett told BBC London 94.9: "Great for me and the staff and a good bit of publicity for the club."

The Lions have enjoyed an excellent month, winning all four of their league matches and conceding just one goal in the process.

They beat Hartlepool, Leicester and Cheltenham before continuing their good run with a 2-1 victory away to Swindon.

The Lions are currently lying in fifth place in the table.
