The Shakers offered Bullock a permanent deal following a successful loan spell at Gigg Lane but the 26-year-old has opted to return to Hartlepool.�

"That's his decision and as they are a division above us you can understand that," director of football Keith Alexander told Bury's website.

Bullock, who is yet to feature for Pools this season, started eight games for Bury during his loan spell.
