Bury have terminated the contract of manager Graham Barrow after a poor start to the season at Gigg Lane. The Shakers are currently second from bottom of League Two after a disastrous run in which they have gone seven games without a victory.
Barrow, 51, took over at Bury from Andy Preece in December 2003 and had to deal with serious financial restrictions during his time in charge.
Assistant Ray Mathias has left so coach Chris Casper is in temporary charge.
