Burton Albion's Nathan Stanton suffers torn hamstring
Stanton has formed an impressive partnership with Darren Moore
Burton Albion manager Paul Peschisolido fears that centre-half Nathan Stanton will be missing for most of September with a torn hamstring.
Stanton suffered the injury in Saturday's 3-0 home victory over Hereford and had to be substituted.
Peschisolido told BBC Radio Derby: "He felt his hamstring go straight away - hopefully it is not that bad but the early sign is that it's torn.
"I would see him being out of action for a few weeks."
But there was better news concerning Stanton's fellow centre-back Darren Moore, who collided with the advertising hoardings in the same game.
Peschisolido added: "He hit the boards quite hard and has some lacerations and cuts to his hands, wrist and face and has some bruised ribs and will be a bit sore but I feel more sorry for that board.
"Hopefully he will be alright and should be fine for Saturday."
