Kabba played alongside Peschisolido at Sheffield United
Burton Albion manager Paul Peschisolido is convinced that signing Steve Kabba on loan will prove to be an excellent piece of business.
Kabba, 28, has joined on a short-term contract from League One side Brentford until 23 December.
And Peschisolido, who played with Kabba at Sheffield United, told BBC Radio Derby his experience and quality will be invaluable in League Two.
Peschisolido said: "He's a good player and will be a huge asset for us."
Kabba, who has played Premier League football with both the Blades and Watford, has struggled to break into the Bees line-up after joining in the summer.
Peschisolido believes moving to the Pirelli Stadium will be good for both the player and the Brewers.
"Perhaps it hasn't worked out for him quite so well at Brentford but this is a great opportunity for us and a great opportunity for him to re-launch himself as a player," Peschisolido said.
And the Brewers boss was impressed with his debut in Saturday's 1-0 FA Cup second-round defeat at the hands of Gillingham.
Peschisolido added: "He played well; he led the line, he played up front pretty much on his own and had to do tireless work down the channels and held the ball up well."
