Brewers progress thrills chairman

Burton Albion

Burton Albion chairman Ben Robinson says he is delighted with the progress the club are making in their first season in the Football League.

The ever-improving Brewers are unbeaten in three games and lie 10th in League Two having won five of their 12 games.

Robinson is full of praise for the team and new boss Paul Peschisolido.

"We've played some super stuff and it's the manner of the performances over the season that has been reassuring and pleasing," he told BBC Radio Derby.

And the Brewers chairman is not ruling out an outside chance of sneaking into the play-offs.

"It's a distinct possibility," Robinson added.

"Our aim this season is to stay in League Two but anything we get above that we will take with both hands."

The Brewers are three points off Barnet, who occupy the seventh and final play-off spot, and the two sides meet at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday.
