Clare has won the Conference title with both Boston and Chester |
Burton Albion striker Daryl Clare has agreed a new 12-month deal. Clare, 28, scored 18 league goals in his first season at the Pirelli Stadium and has previously won the Conference title with both Chester and Boston.
"The fact Daryl wants to stay because he thinks we have a chance of going one better next season is brilliant news," boss Nigel Clough told the Burton Mail.
Utility man Andy Corbett and midfielder Danny Holmes have also agreed new one-year contracts with Burton.
However, midfielder Lee Bell, 24, learned earlier in the week that he is not being offered a new deal to stay on.
