Trollope is ruling out bringing defenders in on emergency loan

Bristol Rovers first-team coach Paul Trollope has ruled out trying to sign any defenders on emergency loan deals.

"Danny Coles is going to be starting training very, very shortly and Joe Jacobson's not far behind," Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol.

"Ryan Green's close to full fitness, he had a bit of action at Bournemouth on Tuesday and he'll be a week further on in his rehabilitation on Saturday.

"They're players we've said a number of times how much we've missed them."
