Bristol Rovers first-team coach Paul Trollope is backing his players despite crashing out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy 3-0 at Bournemouth.
Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol: "They deserved it. We're hoping it is a blip to where we're going.
"I've said to the players we've got to look at it, analyse it quickly and turn round our mentality very, very quickly.
"I've got a belief that we can bounce back quickly and produce a performance good enough to beat Peterborough."

Debutant Jeff Goulding connected with Darren Anderton's flick-on to finish from close-range to make it 1-0.
Josh McQuoid then pulled the ball back for ex-Rovers man Sammy Igoe to claim his first goal in a Bournemouth shirt.
And Danny Hollands completed a fine win after he capitalised on Steve Elliott's errant defensive header.
