Bristol Rovers have confirmed that head of youth Kevin Hodges has been released by the club.
It follows the decision to withdraw their reserve team from the Football Combination League.
Rovers say the decision was also influenced by his reluctance to relocate to Bristol.
Director of football Lennie Lawrence and first-team coach Paul Trollope will now take control of the reserve team as part of their managerial duties.
Meanwhile, Rovers young striker Josh Klein-Davies has been named in Wales under-19 Squad for this year's Milk Cup competition in Northern Ireland.
The tournament, which will see Wales play against the USA, Chile and Northern Ireland, takes place towards the end of July.
