Bristol City keeper David James wins red card appeal
Bristol City 0-4 Middlesbrough
Bristol City goalkeeper David James has had his red card in the 4-0 defeat by Middlesbrough rescinded by the Football Association's disciplinary panel.
The England man was sent off in last Saturday's Championship clash at Ashton Gate after he was judged to have denied a clear goal-scoring opportunity.
But City appealed claiming that three other defenders were also in the area.
The panel agreed and overturned the one-match ban, allowing James to face Crystal Palace this Saturday.
