Adebola joined Bristol City from Coventry in January 2008
Bristol City striker Dele Adebola hopes his performance in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Wolves can earn him a recall to the Robins' starting XI.
Adebola lost his place in the City team after a month out with a dead leg but came off the bench to score one goal and make another at Ashton Gate.
The 33-year-old told BBC Radio Bristol: "It's down to the manager.
"Coming back from injury, I feel fit but I can only put my case forward by doing it on the pitch."
There is a distance between us and the play-offs but that is a realistic aim for us. We have to battle for every point that's available

The draw with Wolves leaves City lying 14th in the Championship, 10 points off the play-offs.
Nigeria-born Adebola said the Robins need to repeat the performance of coming from 2-0 down against the league leaders if they are to get into the end-of-season scramble for the Premier League.
"There is a distance between us and the play-offs but that is a realistic aim for us," said Adebola.
"If we are going to do that then we have to battle for every point that's available.
"We haven't got a game for 10 days, so we'll go away and reflect and then come back fired up," he added.
