Mifsud has one year left on his contract at the Ricoh Arena

Bristol City expect to complete the signing of Coventry striker Michael Mifsud on Monday after he passed a medical at the club.

The 27-year-old Maltese international has agreed personal terms with the Robins after they had an undisclosed bid accepted by Coventry last week.

Mifsud scored 17 times last season but went 19 games without finding the net in the second half of the campaign.

City are hoping to announce another signing in the next few days.
