Johnson is taking his squad to the Algarve ahead of the new season

Bristol City will play two matches during their pre-season tour to Portugal in July.

Boss Gary Johnson is taking his first-team squad to a training camp on the Algarve from 15-20 July.

In their first game the Robins will face Portuguese non-league side Grupo Desportivo Lagoa on 16 July.

City will then take on Third Division club Farense on 18 July. Their first game of the new Championship season is at Blackpool on 9 August.
