Michael McIndoe says his decision to leave Wolves for Bristol City has now proved to be the right one.
"My move from Wolves has been fully justified now," the 28-year-old told BBC Radio Bristol. "I can put that to bed and focus on the play-offs."
While McIndoe's old club missed out, City set up a Championship play-off semi-final against Crystal Palace after finishing fourth in the table.
"The only goal now is to get to Wembley over the two legs," added McIndoe.
There has been much discussion about the effects of the pressure of promotion on Bristol City, as they slipped out of the automatic places over the last few weeks of the season.
But the Scottish winger, part of the Wolves team who failed in the play-offs a year ago, says it was not an issue.
"People talk about pressure," he said. "But there's no pressure on us as football players. We don't feel real pressure.
"Getting shot at in Iraq with bullets flying past you, that's pressure.
"This isn't pressure, and has never been pressure in its life."
Instead, McIndoe, who scored in Sunday's final day 3-0 win over Preston North End, feels that a sceptical media could help the Robins go all the way to the Premier League.
"Leicester going down, that's unbelievable, a massive club going down to League One.
"It goes to show that the pundits were wrong this year. With Bristol finishing fourth they underestimated us massively, which is great for us. And I hope they underestimate us again."
