Interview: Bristol City striker Dele Adebola

Bristol City striker Dele Adebola says his team mates are coping well with the pressure of their promotion challenge.

"It's a hard division to win games, as proved by just about everyone in the top eight or nine not doing too well recently," he told BBC Radio Bristol.

"But we're still there on merit and we're still playing some attractive football," added the 32-year-old.

"They're handling it very well, every game there's a renewed optimism and we're really up for it."

Adebola added: "The manager's inspiring us to go out and really strive for the wins to get us promoted.

"Everything from constructive criticism to out-and-out bawling at us, when it's merited, but it's all for the greater good."
