Johnson was happy with City's second consecutive clean sheet (Gary Bray) |
Bristol City boss Gary Johnson praised his team's defence for keeping the Robins top of the Championship with a goalless draw with Watford on Tuesday. He told BBC Radio Bristol: "If you're going to stay at the top then you've got to make sure that you are 100% focused on keeping them out.
"If the defenders fall short on occasions, then we've got a goalkeeper that's in fantastic form.
"I thought all over the field, we finished stronger."

But the Robins' manager felt Brazilian goalkeeper Adriano Basso's penalty save was the highlight of the Watford game.
"It was a fantastic save," he said. "That'll be a highlight of the season when we look back at it, we hope.
"You know he's got that hand where his fingers go all over the shop and I'm sure one of them crooked fingers has got behind the ball.
"He's done well to read it, there was a lot at stake, everybody knew that and it was a great save in itself.
"Not just because it was a penalty save, it was a great save. But he keeps doing it and that's what great goalkeepers do.
