Brighton must be more clinical, says Mauricio Taricco
Taricco has made two appearances for Brighton this season
Brighton assistant manager Mauricio Taricco says his side must start taking their opportunities in front of goal.
Albion missed a host of chances, including a last-minute penalty, as they drew 1-1 with FC United of Manchester in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Taricco told BBC Sussex: "The problem is we are not clinical enough.
"If you don't score goals you can't win games. It's not happening at the moment and it's tough, we just have to grit our teeth and keep looking forward."
He added: "A lot of our shooting opportunities were not on target.
"But when you have so many opportunities you are doing something good."
The 37-year-old Argentine has come out of retirement to bolster the League One side's squad, and set up the equaliser for Fran Sandaza on Saturday.
Taricco continued: "It's just the final touch, the little bit of quality, that we're missing - that pass into the net instead of a kick desperate to get the ball in.
"Hopefully our players will be calm in front of goal and tuck it in next time."
