Brighton goalkeeper Michel Kuipers has been ruled out for the season after breaking his finger in training.
Manger Gus Poyet told BBC Sussex: "It's a two to three-month injury, so the season is probably finished for him."
Poyet has said he is considering whether to sign another goalkeeper as cover for the 35-year-old Dutchman ahead of the 25 March loan deadline.
Mitch Walker, 18, could be used as cover for Peter Brezovan at Colchester United on Monday.
