League One side Brighton have signed Cambridge United striker Chris Holroyd for an undisclosed fee.
Holroyd, 23, who has scored 16 goals in the Blue Square Premier this season, has penned an 18-month contract.
Brighton manager Gus Poyet told the club's website "I am delighted to have completed the deal. Chris is an exciting young prospect.
"He has an excellent goalscoring record this season and has tremendous potential. He is one for the future."
