Brighton are set to boost their coffers following Sheffield United's sale of Colin Kazim-Richards to Fenerbahce. The Seagulls sold the striker, 20, 12 months ago for 150,000 and could earn up to 280,000 from a sell-on clause.
"Taking everything into account I feel we have had a good return on our initial investment," Albion chairman Dick Knight told his club's website.
"We knew what Colin was capable of when we signed him, but things didn't quite work out as we would have liked."
Brighton bought Kazim-Richards in June 2005 in a 250,000 deal from Bury.
