Brentford swoop for Watford goalkeeper Richard Lee
Lee lost his first-team place at Watford to Scott Loach
Brentford have agreed to sign Watford goalkeeper Richard Lee at the end of his Vicarage Road contract.
The 27-year-old, who made his Watford debut in March 2003, will join the Bees on a two-year deal on 1 July.
Lee told the club website: "It a fantastic challenge for me and I really can't wait. It's a big step having been with Watford since I was 11."
Meanwhile, defender Leon Legge, 24, has signed a new two-year contract at Griffin Park.
Legge had only previously penned an 18-month extension to his deal in December last year.
Goalkeeper Lee said to BBC London 94.9: "It was a very tough decision after being at Watford for the best part of 17 years.
"Having not played competitive football now for 18 months, the opportunity of playing for a club that is progressing like Brentford are is one I could not turn down."
