Brentford have signed Bristol City striker John Akinde on a month-long loan with a view to longer deal.
The 20-year-old scored twice against the Bees last season during the first of two loan spells with Wycombe.
Akinde joined the Robins for £140,000 from Ebbsfleet but has made just one Championship start.
Bristol City boss Gary Johnson said: "John hasn't been in the squad in recent weeks and I'd prefer he was playing on a Saturday than not.
"He's had a few cameo run-outs but he needs 90 minutes and Brentford should offer him that."
The Bees have also extended the loans of striker Lionel Ainsworth from Huddersfield and defender Tommy Smith from Ipswich.
Ainsworth, 22, joined from the Terriers last week on a one-month deal but has now agreed to stay until the end of the season.
Smith, 19, has extended his loan from to three months.
