Brentford have signed Reading goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen on an emergency seven-day loan.

The 19-year-old will provide cover for Ben Hamer following his sending-off in the Bees' FA Cup defeat at Barrow.

Andersen joined the Royals from Danish side AD Copenhagen in January 2007 but has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Royals.

He has previously enjoyed loan spells with non-league sides Torquay United and Rushden and Diamonds.
