Brentford manager Leroy Rosenior has been banned from the touchline for two games and given a fine of 500 by the Football Association. Rosenior was found guilty of using abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official after he was sent to the stands by referee Clive Penton.
The incident took place in last month's Carling Cup tie against Luton.
The ban starts on 23 October, meaning he will have to sit in the stands at Oldham and Nottingham Forest.
