Bradford City defender Simon Ramsden has signed a new two-year deal which will keep him at Valley Parade until the end of the 2012 season.
After arriving from Rochdale on a one-year deal last summer, City had the option to extend Ramsden's contract for another 12 months.
But the right-back was keen to commit his future to Bradford for longer after playing under Peter Taylor last season.
The 28-year-old can also play at centre-half and in midfield.
