Bradford City have signed defender Zesh Rehman on a free transfer following his release by QPR.
The Pakistan international, 25, has signed a two-year deal at Valley Parade after spending the second half of last season on loan with the Bantams.
He told the Telegraph and Argus: "There were a couple of other clubs in from a higher league but this felt right."
Meanwhile, the club have confirmed Luke O'Brien, Joe Colbeck and Leon Osborne have signed new contracts.
Rehman made 17 appearances for Bradford after arriving at the club in January and has taken a pay cut to make the switch permanent.
He said: "My gut feeling told me to sign for Bradford and I've absolutely no regrets.
"From day one I felt at home here and I'm fortunate enough to have played in all the divisions and I see this as the next step of my journey.
"I'm 25 now and still feel the best years are ahead of me."
Meanwhile 19-year-old striker or winger Leon Osbourne has signed a new one-year deal with the club.
City's Carling Cup first round tie at Nottingham Forest has been confirmed for Wednesday, 12 August.
