Bradford will receive a fee of 7,500 from Barnet for striker Luke Medley, a tribunal has ruled.
The 19-year-old turned down a new contract at City in the summer and signed for their League Two rivals as a free agent.
Due to the player being younger than 25, Bradford went to a tribunal and asked for 50,000 in compensation.
Barnet must now pay the initial fee of 7,500 and grant the West Yorkshire club a 20% sell-on clause.
Meanwhile, Bradford boss Stuart McCall has said he will not bring players in on loan to solve the club's current right-back problems.
TJ Moncur faces at least one week out after he collapsed twice at Shrewsbury Town due to a head injury, while Paul Arnison still has a calf problem.
Both Arnison and Moncur will be all right for the week after
Bradford boss Stuart McCall on his right-back problems
"Both Arny and TJ will be all right for the week after," McCall told the Telegraph & Argus.
"So for us to get a young kid in for just one game would be unfair on both the player and his team."
Despite the shocking injury, Moncur returned to City training on Tuesday, along with Peter Thorne, who missed the Shrewsbury defeat through injury.
Midfielder Chris Brandon is also suffering from injury and underwent an exploratory operation to determine the extent of his troublesome foot on Monday.
Brandon has yet to make his debut for Bradford, after signing from West Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town in the summer.
