Cherries duo face injury lay-offs

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is concerned over the extent of injuries sustained by midfielder Mark Molesley and defender Scott Guyett.

Molesley has missed the last three games and Howe says his ankle injury could be worse than initially feared.

"Mark's situation is a tricky one because he tried to start jogging again, but felt some pain," Howe told BBC Radio Solent.

Guyett faces a lengthy spell out after undergoing surgery on a knee injury.

Howe confirmed that the 33-year-old Australian is expected to be out for "a couple of months".

Molesley has been a key part of the Cherries' midfield since his move from Grays in October 2008.

"We'll monitor it [his injury], but might have to investigate the problem further," Howe added.
