Cherries-Grimsby is home sell-out

Bournemouth

Bournemouth will be backed by a capacity 9,400 home crowd, as they bid to seal their Football League status with a win over Grimsby this weekend.

Despite starting the season with a 17-point deduction, the Cherries could seal survival with a game to spare.

A win over Grimsby would keep them up, while they will also be realistically safe if Chester fail to beat Aldershot.

"It's fantastic to see that the fans are turning out in force," Cherries boss Eddie Howe told BBC Radio Solent.

"Hopefully we can get the job done for them."

Bournemouth have injury doubts over both Steve Fletcher and Mark Molesley for the game at Dean Court.

There is full commentary on BBC Radio Solent, and coverage on BBC Radio Humberside from 1400 BST on Saturday.

The Cherries lead Chester by four points - but as their goal difference is 40 better than Chester's, Chester must win both their last two games to have any hope of overhauling them.
