Fletcher has made over 500 appearances for the Cherries

Bournemouth striker Steve Fletcher says there is still plenty of work to do in the battle for League Two survival.

The Cherries' 2-0 win over Aldershot lifted them out of the relegation zone for the first time this season.

Fletcher, 36, who scored the first goal of his second spell at Dean Court said: "It's a big weight off our shoulders but it's just the first stage done.

"We must try to climb the table and avoid it going down to the last game or two of the season."
